🐾 About Paws and Beyond
We're not just pet sitters. We're animal people—the kind who've spent years elbow-deep in rescue work, rehabilitation, and the occasional alpaca standoff.
We've cared for everything from tiny fledgling birds to free-spirited dingoes, from snuggly rescue kittens to goats with attitude and alpacas who judge us silently from across the paddock. And when it comes to small farm animals, we're right at home—whether it's bottle-feeding orphaned lambs, tending to injured chickens, looking after miniature ponies, or keeping a watchful eye on piglets and poddy calves.
We've bottle-fed orphaned joeys, sat with anxious rescue dogs until they felt safe, and learned that every species has its own unique way of saying "thank you" (or "feed me now").
This isn't just our past. It's our present.
Many of our sitters are still actively involved in animal rescue and welfare work. We volunteer at shelters, foster animals in need, and support causes that protect and rehabilitate creatures great and small—including farm animal rescues and sanctuary work.
Because for us, animal welfare isn't a buzzword—it's a way of life.
Meet Tracey
Tracey brings years of hands-on experience working on lifestyle properties/small farm sanctuaries, where she's cared for everything from alpacas and dingoes to birds and beyond. But what truly sets her apart is that she always goes the extra mile—whether it's staying a little longer to soothe a nervous animal, learning the unique quirks of each creature in her care, or simply showing up with genuine warmth and patience. Her deep understanding of animal behaviour, paired with her compassionate approach, means every pet she meets is treated like family.

Tina is the heart and soul of Paws and Beyond. She has a special touch with senior pets and anxious animals—knowing when to give space and when to offer a gentle pat. She's a natural. Beyond her work with companion animals, Tina's experience extends to small farms, where she's cared for everything from goats and chickens to horses and rescue pigs. That hands-on, earthy background gives her a unique ability to read animal behavior across species and sizes, and it deepened her belief that every creature—whether furry, feathered, or hoofed—deserves patience and respect. Tina created this website to connect pet owners with compassionate, reliable care, and to build a community where every animal feels safe, understood, and loved.
